Our Mission

The mission of Fred’s Fund is to raise money for the purpose of providing funds, goods and services to benefit the patients and the families of patients being treated in the Pediatrics Intensive Care unit (PICU) at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHAD) and to fund an annual scholarship (The Fred Swymer Memorial Scholarship). The scholarship recipient will be a college bound student who has been or is being treated for a chronic long-term illness at CHAD.
